This morning in our worship service the music director shared how he viewed his role on Sunday mornings.  Years ago a senior pastor encouraged him to be a lead worshipper instead of a worship leader.  We are blessed with amazing musical talent in the church we currently attend and I have so appreciated the wonderful way they all(choir, orchestra, soloists, varied musical teams, etc..) follow the mandate of 'lead worshippers'.
