Great Fellowship

It has been a great Sunday so far and the day isn't even over yet.
First we had a unique church service this morning with the introduction of a new mission outreach being developed toward the Muslim nation. "Transplanting Life - church-based church planting". As we left we were asked to pick up a new, young plant - take it home and plant it to serve as reminder to pray for this new endeavor. Kingdom building - a daily challenge.

From church we drove to Panera Bread to meet our niece and her boyfriend.

She has always been a delight to spend time with - as a child she and Jay had a fun connection. How delightful to spend time with her as an adult. She works with autistic children and her friend works in his fathers construction business and is a talented artist. It was another delight to see pictures of his amazing creativity. He has some of his work hanging in a local winery. They both love the Lord. How kind of them to want to spend time with two old folks but it was a wonderful highlight of the day.

And now, after a short time of rest we'll be headed to an outside family gathering to celebrate a grandchilds 1st birthday.

Sundays are my favorite day of the week!!!! I trust you find joy in your Lord's day as well.
